Hope Pins

We began making unique foundation pieced pins about seven years ago, totaling a contribution of about $20,000. As of 2009, we have been supporting Living Beyond Breast Cancer, "a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life." To date, we have donated over $2,000 from pin proceeds.

The original design for the paper-pieced pin came from HSQ member Gretchen Schroeder. To date, we've made and sold about 2,100 pins.
