January Meeting Minutes

1. Robin Levenberg opened the meeting by reminding us of the SECOND ANNUAL HEARTSTRINGS
QUILTERS RETREAT on Saturday January 31, 2004. We need to bring a sewing machine that has an adjustable zigzag stitch. Materialslist will be emailed to all participants. See you on Saturday at the Conshohocken Marriott for a day of learning and fun.

2. Debbie Schwartzman is in need of 65 pins for a group in Arizona who will sell them for us in February.
Tracy Keuhn has supplies. We need PINS!!

3. February meeting will feature making cloth books. Judy Fliegelman will give a short demonstration.

4. Our program was combined with show and tell as we all showed off our first quilted pieces and our
latest. It is fascinating to see the ways in which we have grown as quilters and artists. Even those among us who claim not to be artists have shown imagination, creativity and love for this wonderful art form. It is very exciting to be part of this supportive and dynamic group.
