Pin Committee:

At the September meeting many of you expressed interest in buying Lin Vandenberg's whimsical Hope Pins. We will be having a silent auction of Lin's pins at the October meeting. The minimum bid will be $15. Regardless of the final price, Heartstrings will keep $7.50 and the remaining amount will go to Linda Creed.

Although we have about 100, pins are still needed for the upcoming Linda Creed Breast Cancer events. Anyone who has made pins should bring them to the October or November meet ings. If you need supplies, please contact Tracey at RGTK@att.net.

The Recognition Tea (new name and slightly different format) will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2003. This is another selling period - along with the holidays. Therefore, we will need to replenish our October inventory fairly quickly! The pins make wonderful stocking stuffers and holiday gifts.
