From the President

Who needs to pay a speaker when we can put on such a wonderful program as our last month’s Show and Tell? Many Heartstrings members showed off their talents and skill with an amazing assortment of quilts. Lonni Rossi dazzled us with her beautiful new line of fabrics, and we wish her well in Houston. For more inspiration, one of the largest quilt shows in the world takes place in Houston this month. We were there several years ago, and the quality and quantity of spectacular quilts is unsurpassed. If you have never been there, and have the opportunity, think about making plans and attending it next year at the end of October. This show is definitely worth the trip! In the coming months, I am sure that many of the quilt publications will be featuring quilts from that show. Look for them!
