Five Fabriholics Take Lancaster by Storm

Five Heart String Quilters were let loose in Lancaster County and the Amish will never be the same. Anne Cohen, Judy Fliegelman, Susan Soiferman, Robin Levenberg, and Suzan Hirsch drove to Lancaster County credit cards in hand, lists at the ready, and compulsive fabric buying the goal. The owners of Sauder’s Country Store, The Old Country Store, Bird-In -Hand Country Store, and the Good and Plenty Restaurant got down on there knees in thankful prayer as we left each establishment. We stuffed our car full of bargains, had lunch with Singapore's representative to the United Nations, whose daughter had just come from Singapore two weeks earlier. Were we worried about any contact with SARS? — not us! We just knew if the lovely young lady started to cough, we were out of there. Seriously, we did find that the Bird-In-Hand store had fantastic selections of really wonderful name brand fabrics at below Philadelphia prices. We had a wonderful time and are ready to search out the magic formula of SALE and FABRIC again.
