From the President

Happy New Year and welcome to a new chapter in the history of the Heartstring Quilters Guild. It's official - we voted to move to the Bala Cynwyd Methodist Church for our meetings. That's a pretty big change after 15 (more or less) years at the same location.

I heard a quote some years ago, "The only person who likes change is a baby with a dirty diaper". But change can also be exciting and it can open new doors and opportunities. I feel that this will be a positive change for our group.

We will meet at our regular spot, The Church of the Covenant, for one last chilly January meeting. Our trial meeting in the new space will be February 13. As I mentioned before, we won't be giving a final commitment until we have a trial meeting, so please try to make it in February.

And as long as I don't get snowed in back home in Chicago, I'll see you at the meeting.
