Pin Committee:

A quick note to say that anyone who missed the tea
held by Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation this
afternoon at the Warwick Hotel missed a first class
event — the food was terrific, the ceremony was
meaningful, and those honored were deserving.
Heartstrings sold 41 pins of the usual kind and three
of Lin's art HOPE pins (by comparison we sold 43
HOPE pins at the Candlelighting Ceremony in early
October). The guild sponsored the table and I just did
the deposit, then did the math and wrote a check to
mail to Linda Creed for our total 2003 fall sales.

I am very happy to share with you all that the check I
wrote for $1080.00 has put us over the $10,000.00
mark in total donations to LCBCF since October of
1999, which was our first Candlelighting and sale of
pins. Our donation total as of today is $10,162.50 !!!

That is a LOT of pins and dedication and good wishes
and hope that we have sent out into the world. I am
absolutely amazed at the level of success this project
has generated and continues to produce. Congratulations
to the little guild that could, would, and has
done it!
