March Meeting Minutes
Janet opened the meeting by introducing our own Christine Johnson who spoke to us about her month long learning experience in Ghana. Christine brought along slides and samples of the batiks and hand dyed fabrics she learned how to make as she taught women in Ghana about piecing quilts. Christine brought three guests, two members of the class she teaches at The Southwest Community Enrichment Art Center and Sister Helen Davis. Even the outfit Christina wore showed off the beautiful fabric made in Ghana.
